Terms of Service

Bank Statement Converter is browser-based bank-statement conversion software.

The service

The service converts supported PDF bank statements into Excel, CSV, and JSON files. Results can contain extraction or classification errors. You are responsible for checking exported data before relying on it.

The service is not a bank, lender, accounting service, tax service, financial adviser, or investment product, and it does not provide accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice. It is not persistent file hosting, public file sharing, a cyberlocker, or a document-falsification service.

Your account and documents

You must own or have authority to upload and process each document. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, malware, unauthorized access, infringement, fraud, falsification, or attempts to bypass file, credit, payment, budget, or security controls. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You retain ownership of your documents. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive permission needed to host, process, transform, support, and delete them in order to operate the service.

Plans, credits, and USD pricing

• Starter costs 15 USD per month or 144 USD per year and grants 150 credits each month.
• Pro costs 39 USD per month or 375 USD per year and grants 500 credits each month.
• Credit packs cost 9, 19, 49, or 99 USD once for 50, 150, 500, or 1,200 credits respectively. They are not subscriptions and do not renew.

One physical PDF page costs one credit after a validated export succeeds; failed conversions cost zero. Subscription credits expire 90 days after each monthly grant. Free credits and credit-pack credits do not expire under the current product policy.

Annual subscriptions are charged once per year, but credits are still granted monthly rather than all at once. Prices shown on the website are in USD. Stripe Checkout shows the selected product, final amount, recurring or one-time status, and available payment methods before an enabled payment is submitted.

Launch promotion

When the launch promotion is available, the first 100 eligible customers who complete a new monthly Starter or Pro subscription receive 20% off the first three monthly subscription charges. Eligibility is confirmed in Stripe Checkout and is limited to one promotion per account. The promotion does not apply to annual subscriptions or credit packs, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with another promotion unless Checkout expressly shows otherwise.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Paid checkout is available only when the corresponding server-side payment gate is enabled. Viewing pricing or signing in does not itself create a charge.

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until canceled. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not create a prorated refund. Plan changes are scheduled for that same boundary without proration.

If a renewal fails, the account enters a three-day grace period. Existing credits remain available, but no unpaid subscription grant is issued. A paid purchase may qualify for a full refund when requested within seven days and every paid credit from that charge remains unused and unreserved. See the Refund Policy for the complete rule.

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Availability and termination

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, providers, budgets, or the service, or when these Terms are violated. Where the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Changes and support

We may update these Terms by posting a revised date. For product, account, privacy, billing, cancellation, refund, or legal questions, email support@bankstatementconverters.co. We aim to provide an initial response within two business days.
